What is the Comanche Trace MGA?
The current incarnation of the Comanche Trace MGA was formed in September 2006 to provide a venue for male golfers to get together once a week for some fun and some competitive golf. Each year in September, the membership (117 strong in 2008) elects a board to help, along with the pro shop staff, organize the various events for the next year. Currently this board consists of:
- President - Todd Ezell
- Vice President - Leo Clark
- Tournament Committee - Bill Lackey and John Swann
- Food and Beverage - Joe Gosmano
- Secretary and MGA Handicap Representative - John Harrison
Beginning in 2008, the annual dues are $95. These dues are used for multiple purposes, including:
- Providing refreshments following MGA events.
- Contributing to an exquisite dinner for members and their wives (or others) at the end of the season in December. The 2007 dinner party was attended by 130 people and was a HUGE success.

1st Wednesday - Individual Stroke Play
2nd Wednesday - ABCD or ABC Teams
3rd Wednesday - Pick-Ur-Partner
4th Wednesday - Varies each month but serious golf
5th Wednesday - Not so serious golf

April 19th and 20th - Emerson Cup
May 17th - Horserace
June - Combined LGA/MGA Event
July 8th -17th - President's Cup (1st round)
July 18th - 27th - President's Cup (2nd round)
August 2nd - President's Cup (final round)
August 9th - Beat the Pros
September 13th - Pick-Ur-Pro
October 25th - Three man scramble
November 22nd - Turkey Trot - Pick-Ur-Partner - Triple six
December 13th - MGA Championship
December 13th - Annual MGA Dinner
